Silva made first appearance for Chelsea Under-18 side back in February after rising up the ranks in the Blues academy in recent years, featuring prominently for the Under-16 side.
Earlier this month, in Chelsea’s 1-0 Champions League win over Benfica, Isago was spotted as a ballboy for the game, which shocked many fans who spotted him on the sidelines.
The young Brazilian, who is following in the footsteps of his father, has now been named in the squad registered with UEFA ahead of tonight’s visit of Ajax in what is a huge honour.
UEFA rules enable clubs to add an unlimited number of players to their B list squad, as long as the players are born on or after January 1, 2004 and have been at the side for two uninterrupted years since their 15th birthday, which applies to Isago.
Thiago lifted the Champions League with Chelsea back in 2021 and quickly became a cult hero with the side as he found constant success. Although Isago is very unlikely to feature under manager Enzo Maresca, this move does show he is once again climbing the ranks as he aims to burst into the first team.
