Juve were left furious after the decision by referee Federico La Penna to send off Pierre Kalulu.
Sports Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea, after reading the match report from referee La Penna and that of the league inspectors present, banned Comolli until March 31, 2026 , with an accompanying fine of €15,000.
Mastrandrea explained: "For having, at the end of the first half, in the tunnel leading to the changing rooms, adopted an aggressive and seriously intimidating attitude towards the match official, seeking physical contact with him, which was avoided thanks to the intervention of the Juventus coach and other members and collaborators, furthermore uttering seriously insulting words towards the same match official and repeating such behavior also in the area in front of the referee's changing room."
Meanwhile, Chiellini has been banned until February 27, 2026 (and is not subject to a fine): "for having, at the end of the first half, in the tunnel leading to the changing rooms, protested in an agitated and disrespectful manner against the referee's actions, repeating such behavior also in the area in front of the referee's changing room; furthermore, for having, in the same context, made offensive criticisms towards the match officials; this latter infringement was detected by an assistant."
