AS Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba says it's too soon to think about the World Cup after Saturday's playing comeback.

The former Manchester United and Juventus star was a second-half substitute in the 4-1 reverse, marking a first competitive appearance in over two years due to injury and a doping ban.

After reflecting on the moment, Pogba was asked if making France's World Cup squad next summer was a target.

The 32 year-old replied: "There's still a long way to go.

"I need to get back in shape to help the team. If I don't play well in Monaco, I'll have to forget about the World Cup."
