Nottingham Forest forward Morgan Gibbs-White, Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton, Newcastle defender Lewis Hall, Manchester United's Luke Shaw and West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen are other noteworthy exclusions from the squad which is sure to generate discussion online.
England warm up for the tournament with friendlies against New Zealand on 6th June and Costa Rica on 10th June before starting their World Cup campaign against Croatia on 17th June, before further group games against Ghana and Panama.
