The midfielder, who had an injury-plagued season, describes the year as tough.
"It has been tough in the league with Tottenham, we are trying to see the positive. We have a World Cup qualifier now that I am one hundred percent focused on," he told SVT Sport.
Sweden meet Poland in their World Cup final playoff.
Bergvall added: "The World Cup is a dream that you have had since you were little. I'm ready regardless of whether I start or not."
