While they have settled on Roberto de Zerbi as their priority appointment, the Italian's reluctance to take the post at this stage in the season has left Tottenham seeking a new caretaker to be on the touchline for Sunday.
Coach and Tottenham ambassador Ledley King is being considered, as is Wales defender Davies, says the Mirror.
Ryan Mason, recently sacked as West Brom manager, is also a candidate. The former Tottenham midfielder took charge as a caretaker after the dismissal of Jose Mourinho in 2021.
