It emerged this week that Chelsea had a €70m offer for the Turkey midfielder rejected by Juve.
Jugovic recalled: "When I played, there were no untouchables and we won: I think about the sales of Vieri, Boksic, Zidane... The management, by rejecting Chelsea, placed even more responsibility on Yildiz."
On new signing Jonathan David, Jugovic also told TMW: "Did he promise 25 goals? I'd even settle for 20 goals and a trophy, because ultimately that's all that matters at Juventus.
"The promise is a demanding one, but I'm optimistic: David has impressive numbers, and in the Champions League, I remember several of his goals against big teams like Juve, Real Madrid, and Atlético."
And on a potential return to Juve for PSG centre-forward Randal Kolo Muani, he added: "He was at Juventus until the other day, and it's advantageous to start over with him: Tudor knows and appreciates the boy. And the Frenchman is a guarantee, a true international."
