Rowe moves to Bologna in a permanent deal after being transfer-listed by Marseille for clashing with teammate Adrien Rabiot following last week's defeat to Rennes.
The pair came to blows in the dressing room, with management choosing to fine and put both players up for sale. However, while Rowe's move to Bologna was confirmed today, Rabiot was recalled by coach Roberto de Zerbi for OM's clash with Lyon today.
Bologna chief Marco di Vaio said: "We've gathered information on what happened at Marseille, but we've been interested in the player for three weeks. His is an incident that can happen, and it helped us complete the deal.
"The boy has put it behind him and sees Bologna as a great opportunity for the future. We're filing the contracts, and he'll be available from Monday. Then he'll have to return to France, but we hope to have him by next Sunday."
