Former Inter Milan striker Antonio Cassano can't see Cristian Chivu staying with the Nerazzurri long-term.

Cassano is a fan of Chivu's style of play, but believes the Inter coach will grow frustrated in Serie A.

Declaring Inter as Serie A's best team "for the past six years", Cassano said: "But under (Simone) Inzaghi, they've been disastrous, throwing away three Scudetti. The best team, in terms of their play, was Atalanta.

"I like Chivu's Inter, he's destined to leave Italy. Christian wants to  propose a more European style of football."

Cassano also commented on Inter Milan striker Francesco Pio Esposito's World Cup chances.

He continued: "He's twenty years old, and we consider him a rookie? Totti and I made our debuts at seventeen, and there were great champions in the national team.

"Pio is undoubtedly doing well, but he's not a starter for Inter, I'd like to see him under pressure."
