Hammers manager Graham Potter's position is in major doubt after defeat at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday. The loss came amid thousands of West Ham fans holding a protest march against the board.
West Ham chiefs are discussing Potter's situation and considering replacements, which include Nuno and fellow free agents Slaven Bilic and Gary O'Neil.
Nuno is keen, though there is a belief his wage demands could be prove difficult for West Ham, which will face a hefty payoff for Potter and his staff.
