West Ham’s hierarchy are considering the future of Potter following a poor start to the new season which has left them in the relegation zone with just 4 goals scored and 11 conceded.
Potter now faces an increasingly difficult battle to save his job after a nightmare run of only six wins from his 23 Premier League games in charge, and reports are claiming that his replacement is already lined up if he is sacked this weekend.
As reported by talkSPORT and The Sun, Owner David Sullivan is considering turning to former boss Bilic to rescue the Hammers from their dire start to the campaign as fans fear that relegation could be on the cards.
Despite a summer spend of £125M, things haven’t improved this term for Potter who joined the side back in January after being let go by Chelsea. A defeat to Crystal Palace this weekend could see the Potter’s current tenure come to an end and a swift appointment for Bilic.
talkSPORT also report that former Notitngham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo and former Everton manager Sean Dyche have also been discussed by the West Ham hierarchy, who seem keen to swap Potter for a fresh face.
