Estevao has five goals to his name in five starts for the Blues so far this season as he quickly establishes himself as one of the next big names in world football who everyone is talking about.
At just 18, Estevao is already a key player for Brazil under manager Carlo Ancelotti and has started and scored his fourth goal in 10 appearances for his national side in Saturday's 2-0 friendly win over Senegal in London before firing home a penalty against Tunisia on Wednesday night.
The teenager would have come as no surprise for Trabelsi, who, before the game, had high praise for Estevao who he believes has a very bright future ahead of him.
"I think he's a new football genius emerging, very young," Trabelsi said.
"I think he's doing very well and he's a player who can be expected to be among the greats, among the best in the world, certainly, in the coming years.
"If he manages to have good performances or win titles, whether with his club or national team, he will be among the players who, in the coming years, could even compete for the Ballon d'Or."
Estevao has started only four Premier League matches for Chelsea this season but has still registered a goal and an assist which includes a late winner against champions Liverpool.
Estevao has already been compared to Brazil legends such as Neymar and even Pele as he builds on his meteoric rise. However, he has a long way to go before being considered for the Ballon d’Or which does not seem out of reach for the Chelsea star who keeps making headlines.
