Reports earlier this month revealed that Spurs have opened a £150M war chest in preparation for the upcoming January transfer window as the North London side desperately try to bolster their squad.
Frank is said to be after a left-sided centre-back, a goalkeeper and a left-winger after missing out on Savinho who joined rivals Manchester City.
This week, when asked about Spurs’ priorities in the January window, Frank stated that Tottenham are ready to conduct business and improve the side.
“Of course, the window will open, and we will be in the market and see if there’s anything we can do, but it will have to be something where we can improve the team.
“If not, rather wait, but we will be out there.”
Tottenham dwell in the bottom half of the Premier League table and Frank will understand that he still has a lot of work to do to get the team to the desired level as the European spots look further and further away.
Frank spent big in the summer, bringing in the likes of Xavi Simons and Mohammed Kudus while also signing Randal Kolo Muani on loan. As January approaches, another big spend seems likely as the board back Frank to build a title worthy team.
