Frank is under increasing pressure from the fans, who are booing their own side at every opportunity, but is set to be handed a lifeline by the board.

According to the Sun, Spurs are ready to splash £150 million on new player in January in an attempt to push for the European spots.

The report adds that Man City winger Savinho is their priority target, with Antoine Semenyo said to be pushing for a move to Pep Guardiola’s side.

Porto striker Samu Aghehowa has also been discussed internally with the club recognising they need to add more goals to the team.
