Seven Liverpool players will miss the final game of the season against Brentford as manager Arne Slot rotates.

Liverpool host Brentford at Anfield on Sunday afternoon as they head into the clash after winning only four of their last 13 matches across all competitions.

The Reds have also only managed to score one goal in four of their seven home clashes against the current top nine, in what is a worrying sign for the final game for Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson

Slot’s side have won six of the last nine meetings against Brentford however as they aim to end the season on a high.

Liverpool conceded three times when they faced Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium in October 2025, losing 3-2 and as Slot prepares his side he will miss some key names once again for what will be a tough test.

The likes of Conor Bradley (Knee Injury) Hugo Ekitike (Calf/Shin/Heel Injury). Giovanni Leoni (Knee Injury), Jeremie Frimpong (Thigh Injury) and Wataru Endo (Ankle/Foot Injury) are all ruled out for the clash and won’t return until next season.

Meanwhile, Alisson Becker (Thigh Injury) and Alexander Isak (Groin/Hip/Pelvic Injury) are both doubts but did return to training this week.

Alisson has not made an appearance since March due to an injury and Isak was missing at Aston Villa last week because of a minor fitness concern.

Slot said that Isak and Alisson are “both positive” but are still unlikely to feature against Brentford on Sunday as the club won’t want to risk the pair before they are 100% ready.
