The Scotsman spoke this week about the club’s future and the club’s summer signings who he believes will help guide the side to successful in the years to come after what has been a dire campaign to say the least.
"That is what I want (to be back at their best), that is what the club wants, that is what everyone wants.

“We bought players (last summer) that we all got excited about and they will all have an unbelievable career at Liverpool. I have no doubt about that. But they are also young.
“I have seen more than enough in training and in games and their attitude that they will be successful.
“But for the future of Liverpool I believe they have more than enough in that changing room to go and achieve more things again.”
Robertson and Salah will leave as club legends and as many worry about the future of the side, the defender may have put some eased the doubts of many supporters ahead of the next campaign.
