Kulusevski has been sidelined since last May due to a serious knee injury sustained during a match against Crystal Palace, which required surgery on his right patella.
Tottenham fans have been left to fear the worst for the winger who both Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor have spoken little about since being forced out of the squad.
Kulusevski contributed 10 goals and 11 assists across all competitions last season and was one of the club’s deadliest attackers.
Despite being expected to return in December, he remains out of contention and was recently seen limping while visiting the Sweden national team camp.
Kulusevski posted on Thursday after his limp and worries supporters had over his return which seems closer than ever.
"Just to clarify things. I'm limping because I had a small intervention in the knee two weeks ago.
"Went in and took out what was not supposed to be there. Knee is great now. Thanks for all the support. God is the greatest always."
Tottenham also have Yves Bissouma, Ben Davies, Mohammed Kudus, Rodrigo Bentancur, Wilson Odobert, James Maddison and Mathys Tel out injured as they battle against relegation under Tudor.
Kulusevski has scored 25 goals and provided 30 assists in 146 appearances for the club since his move from Juventus but he is unlikely to return for the final 7 games of the season to help the club stay up.
