The England international broke the all-time scoring record with 280 goals in 435 games at Tottenham before he became Bayern Munich's record signing in 2023 and has been linked with a move back to North London ever since he left.
Kane won the Bundesliga last season, scoring 26 goals in the competition, and has fulfilled his dream of winning silverware, albeit away from Spurs. The prolific striker is said to have a clause in his Bayern Munich contract that will allow him to return to England in 2026 which many reports have now latched on to.
Speaking to Adventure Gamers, Hamman reveals that he believes Kane could return to the Premier League in search of a league title which he never came close to at Spurs.
“I think Harry Kane has a clause that allows him to leave for a certain amount next summer. I believe the reason Bayern Munich wanted to bring Nick Woltemade in this summer was because many within the club think Kane wants to go back to England after the World Cup.
“Whether that's the case, I don't know, but potentially it could be his last season in Munich if someone pays the fee he can choose to leave next summer.
“Whether someone pays £50M or £60M for him next summer, I don't know. Obviously, a lot will depend on what happens this season in the World Cup. But yes, I think a lot of people, I don't know where they get it from, but many seem to believe that he may want to return to England next summer.”
Kane's chances of dethroning Alan Shearer as the Premier League's top goalscorer would rely on him returning to England and most likely Tottenham in the near future. However, the prospect of move trophies in Germany could be far too strong.
