City are currently level on points with eight teams, meaning a win over Galatasaray and other results going their way are imperative to avoid the play-offs.
Haaland cannot be blamed for his poor form
Guardiola first spoke on team news and questions turned straight to striker Erling Haaland, who did not start against Wolves after being rested.
"We will see (if he will start)
(The team) is why he has not been scoring."
On Bernardo Silva, who may leave the side once the season is over as transfer links grow, with reported interest from Saudi Arabia and Benfica: "He is a street player. He does what the game dictates.
"I expected him to be a really good player. He was never injured. Incredible ability to recover and play.
"He is one of the greatest."
Guardiola welcomes back old faces
Ilkay Gundogan and Leroy Sane will return to the Etihad in what is a welcome return for Guardiola who will be delighted to see his former players back in Manchester. Guardiola praised the pair who he welcomes back with open arms.
"Huge contribution. Great for them to return. Incredible persons.
"He (Gundogan) was here a little longer than Leroy but they were great."
Finally, the City boss gave a tongue in cheek comment when asked about modern management, as he suggested that he does not talk to his players anymore.
"The new generation of managers are just videos, we are not man managers. I don't talk to the players in the last three years. I don't talk with them."
