Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola insists Erling Haaland has nothing to apologise for this week.

The Norway striker offered his apologies to fans after City's shock Champions League defeat at Bodo/Glimt.

But ahead of today's clash with Wolves, Guardiola insisted: "He's not going to apologise. 

"He does his best and he tries, even if the team doesn't win. 

"It's not about a player. It is all. He should not apologise. He can apologise to himself and continue to give everything."

Haaland has scored 26 goals already this season.
