The 19 year-old moved to Molineux last year from Nantes.
Meupiyou's season was disrupted last term due to a knee injury.
Meupiyou becomes the second Wolves player to join the newly-promoted Portuguese top flight club this summer after Chiquinho made the switch earlier in July.
“I’m very happy to be a part of this project. It is an honor to accompany FC Alverca on this return to the Primeira Liga,” said Meupiyou upon signing with Alverca.
