Mbappe missed the midweek Champions League win against Benfica and is also out of tomorrow's LaLiga clash with Benfica.
The Frenchman initially complained after his knee in training before the Benfica clash and was decided he would he withdrawn.
Arbeloa said: "We want Mbappé back at 100 percent, and he will be back as soon as that is the case.
"We know exactly what's going on with him and what we want now: his full recovery."
