Getafe players were furious after their 1-0 defeat at home to Real Madrid on Sunday.

Vinicius Jr saw Allan Nyom sent off for Getafe after being on the pitch for 37 seconds. Kylian Mbappe struck the only goal of the game on 80 minutes - three minutes after Nyom's red card. Alexis Sancris was then sent off on 84 minutes.

"He wouldn't speak to us or check the VAR; it's strange he doesn't even look at it," said an angry Adrián Liso as he left the stadium.

Kiko Femenía also expressed his disappointment: "He booked me in an absurd way and it affected my game. Nyom's should have been a yellow, not a red. All the decisions went in their favor. The referees remain firm in their convictions."

After the match, the players' comments conveyed a widespread sense of frustration.

"We were playing a great game, but the refereeing decisions destroyed our work," said an unnamed Getafe player.

Meanwhile, Sancris stated:  "It wasn't a red card, but that's how it went. Vinicius was playing his game, it was my mistake to come on."
