A native of Barcelona, Garcia was a product of La Masia before moving to Manchester City in 2017, a club that saw him make his senior debut in 2018.
Three years later, he returned to the Blaugrana, where he remained for two seasons before moving on loan to Girona in the 2023-2024 season and returning to his home base.
Garcia has established himself as a key part of coach Hansi Flick's system this season, now regarded as a first-choice for the German.
Barca have announced Garcia's signing ceremony will be held next Thursday.
