Wales and Northern Ireland drew 1-1 in an international friendly at Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, following their World Cup play-off defeats last week.

Northern Ireland took the lead midway through the first half when Jamie Donley reacted quickest to a rebound.

Wales responded immediately after the break, as Sorba Thomas turned in a deflected David Brooks shot to level the score.

The Dragons pushed for a winner, with Neco Williams forcing a save from substitute goalkeeper Pierce Charles, while Northern Ireland's Eoin Toal saw a header kept out by Karl Darlow.
