Ancelotti is preparing for his first World Cup as a manager which has been overshadowed by the Neymar storyline after he was left out of his latest squad selection.
Neymar is Brazil's all-time leading scorer with 79 goals but has not played for the national team since October 2023, when he tore the ACL and meniscus in his left knee.
The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star has also struggled with injuries over the past year as he kept Santos away from relegation.
Ancelotti ignored the clamour for a recall for Neymar and was asked this week about the debate over whether the Brazil legend should have been included.
"I observe everything, I listen to everything. But my role is to make decisions.
“It's normal that everyone can have an opinion, because football isn't a university... football isn't an exact science.
“Everyone has their opinion, and I have to respect everyone's opinion.”
Neymar only has eight games left for Santos before Ancelotti names his squad for the tournament as fears grow that he will never feature for Brazil again.
Brazil take on France on March 26th in Boston and face Croatia on March 31st in Orlando. Neymar can only cheer his country on from the sidelines as they head into the World Cup without him.
