The former Blackburn Rovers and Genoa striker worked with Kean as a youth team coach.
Giovanni Kean told Tuttosport: "Ciccio Grabbi, who is also his godfather and to whom we are very close.
"He took him with the Juventus youth team until he joined the Primavera: he worked a lot on him, teaching him how to attack the depth and how to time his runs.
Giovanni also says Kean enjoys playing alongside Mateo Retegui, now with Al Qadisiah, in Italy's attack.
He added, "...because he's found a teammate similar to him, another 'dog' who runs, works hard, and throws himself on every ball.
"And so they divide up the areas of the pitch to cover: by moving around a lot, they still manage to find space, and where one isn't there, the other is there."
