AC Milan chief Igli Tare has revealed they've offered Luka Modric a new contract.

The 40 year-old midfielder signed a 12 month deal after arriving last summer from Real Madrid.

A new season-long contract has now been tabled, as Tare confirmed to DAZN: "One thing is certain. Luka loves Milan, he loves Milan very much, and Milan loves Luka very much too.

"I think it will be an easy decision for him. The contract is there if he wants – we have a one year option – but he has to make his decision with a clear head. He enjoys playing for this team."

Lately it has been rumoured that Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri wants to sign striker Moise Kean, 26, from Fiorentina before next season.

"Kean? There is no point in talking about these things now," said Tare.

"When the transfer window opens, there will be a lot to talk about."
