McClaren makes contact with England U21 Euros hero Rowe about Jamaica switch

Rowe qualifies for the Reggae Boyz and McClaren wants the midfielder to join their World Cup qualifying campaign.

Rowe, 22  scored the winner for a 3-2 extra-time victory over Germany in the final of the European Under-21 Championship in June.

He has just left Marseille for Bologna and has fielded an approach from McClaren.

However, The Sun says Rowe still sees himself playing for England's senior team and so has resisted McClaren's attempts - for now.
