However, his agent Dario Canovi insists the former Bologna boss remains popular across Europe.
He told Telelombardia: "Thiago Motta will become a great coach.
"He's received several offers. Even today he received an offer from abroad. He'll have to find the right situation for him.
"I don't want to talk about him; I didn't like the stance of a good portion of the press."
