Zhegrova has signed for Juve from Lille with Mezi acting as the intermediary in negotiations.
He told TuttoJuve: "I can say he will be successful in Italy, and his performances will bring Juventus a lot of profit. Edon is a truly strong player, highly skilled as an individual and adept at teamwork. I think Juve has made a top signing for the present and for the future."
On the midfielder's price-tag, Mezi also said: "The only thing I feel like saying is that it could have cost at least double what we invested for him today."
On Napoli's interest, Mezi also stated: "Juventus is better than Napoli because they play a more attacking style of football that allows him to showcase his talents to the fullest. I'd like to wish him and his family the best of luck.
"Edon is, first and foremost, a world-class talent, but he also represents the many great footballers that can emerge from countries that have been hit hard over the last twenty years. I see myself in his hunger and ambition."
