Luciano Spalletti and Xavi have been linked with the job, while local source Arriyadiyah is reporting Klopp isn't only under consideration, but Al-Ittihad's top choice.
The German is currently global football director of Red Bull, having left Liverpool at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Klopp has also been linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Inter Milan, but has always insisted he is happy in his new director's role.
