Simeone and Atletico have been in Saudi Arabia this week for the Spanish Super Cup tournament.
Asked if he could consider coaching a team in Saudi Arabia, he didn't close the door.
"As a coach you never close doors. Football and life can change constantly. From my perspective, I never close doors," Simeone told AS.
Atletico are in fourth place in La Liga with 38 points from 19 matches, eleven points behind leaders Barcelona.
The club's president, Enrique Cerezo, has stated a new contract for Simeone will be soon on the table.
"He is very good. He gives us titles, he gives us wins. We want him to continue (at the club)," Cerezo told Cadena Cope.
