The veteran, after a superb last season under Hansi Flick at Barca, made the move to A;l-Nassri in August.
With his former teammates in Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup, Inigo spoke to reporters about potentially re-signing for the Blaugrana.
He told TV3: "It's impossible for (president Joan) Laporta to spend that much money.
"Honestly, I'm very happy here. Of course I miss Barcelona; it was my best professional year. I knew what it was like to experience the Barça spirit. Obviously, I'll have to watch from afar.
"I won't be able to be there (for the final) because we play the next day. João Cancelo, when he arrived, already showed his quality. He's here to contribute."
Cancelo is set to leave Al-Hilal for a return to Barca in the coming days.
