Carrick has enjoyed the perfect start to his time in charge of United with wins over Manchester City and Arsenal, helping boost his side into the top four this week above Chelsea and Liverpool.
The former midfielder has replaced former manager Ruben Amorim with ease and United look back to their best under his guidance in recent weeks.
The win over Arsenal stunned many fans and has won over Wenger this week who praised his former rivals who he admits looks like they are starting to bounce back.
“I think there is something going on in this Man United team between the way they beat Man City and the way they beat Arsenal today,” Wenger said on beIN Sports.
“The way they played was very convincing and as well, when Arsenal came back to 2-2 usually it's the home team who wins the game.
“(United) found again the resources to score the third goal and to win 3-2 away from home in a top game, I have to congratulate Carrick. He has created something.
“I believe that Carrick has found a good formula that is a good balance between defensive stability and a good technical level.”
Carrick remains undefeated in his two stints as interim boss, and he’ll aim to continue that in the next Premier League clash against Fulham after a week’s rest, which will help his side be at their best once again.
This was Arsenal's first home defeat of the season and after wins for their title rivals Manchester City and Aston Villa it means their lead has been narrowed to four points.
