Tottenham to secure Bissouma to new contract

With a deal running down this season, Spurs are seeking a buyer for the midfielder in January.

However, if a buyer cannot be found, then Spurs will seek to tie down Bissouma to a new contract.

There is a one-year option in Bissouma's deal, which Tottenham can trigger without the player's approval.

The London giants did something similar last season with then skipper Heung-min Son, before eventually selling him to LAFC.

The plan is the same regarding Bissouma, as Spurs will push to sell the player in the summer if he remains over the January market.
