Bournemouth welcome United to the Vitality Stadium on Friday night as the Red Devils try to cement their place inside the top 4 to secure Champions League football for next season.
United bounced back from their 2-1 defeat at St James’ Park to 10-man Newcastle United as they defeated Aston Villa 3-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday and will take that confidence down South against the Cherries.
Under interim boss Michael Carrick, United have won seven, drawn one and lost only one of their nine games. This has helped move them up into third position in the table, six points clear of sixth-placed Chelsea.
However, as things look up for the side, Carrick will be without a number of players including Dorgu (thigh), Matthijs de Ligt (lower back), Lisandro Martinez (calf) and Noussair Mazraoui (sick) in defence.
Carrick will turn to the likes of Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot at the back after what has been a solid performance for the club defensively since the former midfielder took over.
Bournemouth are unbeaten in each of their previous five Premier League meetings with United, but United are favourites to make it eight wins from their last 10 Premier League matches this Friday in what should be an entertaining clash.
