Brobbey struck acrobatically to earn the 2-2 draw on Saturday.
“In Holland, he showed it (goalscoring qualities). He showed it at Ajax,” said Roefs.
“He’s so strong with and without the ball. He keeps two or three defenders busy so he’s a good player.
“I couldn’t really see how he scored it but I just saw the ball hit the back of the net.”
On the point against the Premier League leaders, Roefs also declared: “It’s one of the best games in terms of atmosphere.
“We didn’t have anything to lose going into game. We believe in our qualities and we believe we can beat anyone going into any game.
“You can always do things differently but we are doing everything as a group.
“I think we show that every game that if we are at our best, we can make it difficult for every opponent. In the game against Everton, we weren’t at our best for 20-30 minutes but it shows how formidable we are. It just shows that we have a really good group.”
