“It felt like a good goal,” he said. “A set piece that caused problems. The ball dropped and I just lashed at it and it found the back of the net so I was delighted by that.”
The Northern Ireland international added: “It felt like more than a point in keeping that unbeaten run at home.
“We don’t want teams coming up here and having an easy game, we’ve done that so far and we did it today against the league leaders.
“We’ve just got to keep that strong form going. The fans were magnificent as well. From minute one, you could tell that was a big game.”
