It’s understood that Brighton were demanding a fee in excess of £100 million for Baleba, who is regarded as one of the best young midfielder talents in the Premier League.
According to Orgullobiri, United have not turned their attention to Sevilla’s Agoume, 23, as they seek to bolster their midfield.
Sevilla want a fee of €30 million for the Frenchman, which is lower than his reported €40m release clause and much cheaper than Baleba.
