If Manchester United were to sign Antoine Semenyo, the club are very likely to sell Joshua Zirkzee.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, AS Roma are advancing in talks over personal terms with Zirkzee who is destined to leave United after what has been a failed move from Bologna.

Now, as reported by the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are ready to see the Dutchman depart as long as the side can bring in Bournemouth’s Semenyo

The Bournemouth star is said to favour a move to champions Liverpool, but reports suggest that the Reds are unlikely to make a bid in January as they seek a summer move.

This leaves the door open for United boss Ruben Amorim who met the winger last summer before he decided to stay with the Cherries.

Zirkzee has scored just eight goals in 60 appearances across all competitions and is reportedly ready to make the switch to Roma if given the opportunity by Amorim who is said to be keen on keeping his squad together.

Semenyo has gone on to bag 29 goals and 13 assists in 105 appearances for the Cherries. He would be an excellent addition to Amorim’s project who would clear out more deadwood in Zirkzee who has not lived up to expectations.

He would join Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko in United attack, who certainly have the quality to challenge for the title on paper.
