Semenyo, who scored at Old Trafford in Monday night's thrilling 4-4 draw against the Red Devils, has been the subject of interest from several sides since the start of the season.
The Ghana international has contributed seven goals and three assists from 15 appearances for the Cherries in the top flight so far this season.
United are ready to snap up Semenyo
The midfielder, who has scored 29 goals in over 100 appearances for Bournemouth is now been linked to United who are keen on restructuring their midfield.
Now, as reported by journalist and transfer expert Ben Jacobs, United are preparing to make a move for the 25-year-old.
“Manchester United’s interest in Antoine Semenyo is active, as revealed last month.
“But other clubs are also in the mix, including #MCFC, #LFC and Spurs. #AFC would only consider a move with an outgoing. January expected to be relatively quiet for Arsenal.
“Semenyo calm about his future and waiting to see which clubs commit to triggering or matching his clause, which drops by around £5m come summer.
“January deal worth £65m to Bournemouth if Semenyo’s clause is triggered. Slightly less for buyers due to solidarity.”
Semenyo has scored in all three of the games Bournemouth have played against United since Ruben Amorim took charge. There is no surprise that Amorim is keen on the Bournemouth star as the January window quickly approaches in what will be a hectic month.
