Rooney Jr clear to make senior Man Utd debut

Unlike teammate JJ Gabriel, Rooney Jr is old enough to make his first team debut before the end of the season.

Premier League regulations state players must be 15 years old when the 2025/26 campaign commenced in August to be eligible for first-team action. 

While Gabriel, still 15, does not quality, 16 year-old Rooney is clear to do so.

The attacker, son of former United captain Wayne Rooney, has been outstanding for the U16 and U18 teams this season and has been offered scholarship forms.
