Onana and Man Utd chiefs at odds over next season plans

The Cameroon goalkeeper is currently on-loan with Trabzonspor, where he has impressed in the Super Lig.

Onana would be happy to return to Old Trafford and compete with Senne Lammens next season, though that opinion isn't shared by United management.

The Daily Mail says United are eager to shift out Onana permanently and so reduce their blown out wage bill.

In terms of a sale, United are keen to recoup the €50m spent on signing Onana from Inter Milan in 2023.

For his part, Onana still has over two years to run on his current United deal.
