Hall joins the likes of Mikey Moore who joined Rangers, Ashley Phillips who joined Stoke City as well as several other Tottenham youngsters who have left on loan this summer in search of minutes on the pitch.
Hall can bring a fresh talent to County
The 19-year-old central midfielder was part of the Under-17 and Under-18 Premier League Cup double-winning squad in 2022/23 and has since risen through the academy. He has represented England at Under-19 level, making his debut against Morocco in March 2024 and is perhaps one of the club’s most promising youngsters at the moment.
County’s Director of Football Roberto Gagliardi commented on the deal which he believes Hall can bring dynamism to a side who are aiming for promotion once more this season under manager Martin Paterson.
“Tyrese is a dynamic and versatile midfielder who is talented and hard-working in equal measure.
“His main strength is his ability to play progressively – he’s an incisive passer who’s also very skilled at dribbling out of tight areas and carrying the ball forward.
“Out of possession, Tyrese’s athleticism and work-rate make him a highly-effective presser who gets into excellent positions to register goals and assists - or to create space for other attacking players.
“He’s comfortable playing as a number 6, 8 or 10 and complements our other midfield options very well, including fellow loanees Tom Iorpenda and Jayden Luker who both made impressive debuts at Newport.
County and Tottenham's relationship is growing
The teenager will try to prove himself in League Two next season and Gagliardi is happy that Spurs have trusted the club with his development in what is a crucial time in his flourishing career.
“We’ve worked hard to bring Tyrese to Meadow Lane, with George Abbott’s successful loan and our relationship with Tottenham undoubtedly being influential in him coming to us.
“Our thanks go to Spurs for once again recognising the valuable contribution we can make to one of their top young players’ development.”
