The 17-year-old replaced Salah at the City Ground on Sunday and completely turned the game around as the Premier League champions scored late to collect 3 points.
Ngumoha is the most-used player aged 17 or under in the English top flight, with Brighton‘s Harry Howell (80) the next-closest after playing 89 minutes this season.
The teenager has made 16 appearances so far for the club, with his four starts across the FA Cup and Carabao Cup as he tries to make more of an impact in the Premier League.
Reflecting on his start so far, the youngster who completed more dribbles, attempted more dribbles & created as many chances as Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo at the weekend says he is keen to earn more minutes.
"I think it has gone really well, you know. I am learning a lot every day and playing with and training with some of the best players in the world.
"I can't ask for much more as a young kid. So I just think I need to carry on proving, working hard in training and showing what I can do to the manager.
"The manager (Slot) is very important to me and he gives me a lot, I would say. After training, he always gives me the right things.
"I just need to keep pushing and keep gaining the manager's trust and hopefully that leads to more minutes. Hopefully (more minutes) soon."
"No, definitely. "I feel like if you are not playing as much then you can stagnate, so I feel like to gain more minutes - whether that is Under-18s or 21s - I am still so young, so I am available to play, so any games I can play, I will."
Liverpool fans want to see more of the teenager who add more Slot’s attack each time he is handed the chance to prove himself.
