Tudor is pointless after his first two games in charge, with Spurs now just one point above the dropzone after last night's home defeat to Palace.
Murray told BBC Sport: "Tottenham have not got many games left, but they need to find a concoction and some understanding to go get some results over the line.
"There just seems to be a lack of understanding of what the manager wants. When we ask questions of the manager – what is Igor Tudor meant to do in three games?
"It is ridiculous to think of them sacking him after three games after seeing what the players have ultimately produced.
"This is the same group and sacking the manager after three games is an admission that he was the wrong man in the first place."
