Igor Tudor was installed as the club's interim manager until the end of the season last month as the Croatian attempts to save the club from a drop down to the Championship.
Spurs' odds of relegation now sit at 7.6 per cent, up from 4.7 per cent after both Nottingham Forest and West Ham United picked up points in midweek.
The North London side sit 16th in the Premier League table with just 29 points from 26 games as they prepare to face Crystal Palace on Thursday night in what is another crucial clash for Tudor’s side.
As per the BBC, the financial ramifications of dropping down to the second division would hurt the club in several different ways.
Firstly, the club would see their broadcast revenue drop from £128M to £48M in parachute payments while their Champions League revenue of around £71M+ would completely vanish.
The club’s match day revenue would also drop from £131M to £91M whilst their commercial revenue would fall from £279M to £224M which would crush the club financially.
In total, their revenue would fall from £609M to £348M which would only add to the £129M the side lost last year which will worry fans as the club becomes more and more unstable.
It would be catastrophic if the club were relegated and Tudor’s side must pick up 3 points against Palace or face dropping to into the relegation zone next week if Forest or West Ham pick up even more points.
