Everton manager David Moyes has spoken to the media as he prepares to face Nottingham Forest.

Moyes’ side have picked up three wins across their last four matches to help them climb up to 10th in the Premier League table, three points behind the top four. The Toffees have also won seven of their last 11 league meetings with this weekend’s opponents as they prepare for what will be a tough clash.

Team news

Team news was first on the agenda as Moyes revealed whether Michael Keane would be fit to bolster Everton’s defence, which has leaked 17 goals in 14 games so far in the league this season.

"We're not sure yet if he is going to be right. He played against Newcastle with an injury and he just couldn't quite make it. So I'm not sure yet if he's going to make it or not."

On Seamus Coleman: "Seamus has pulled his hamstring, so is going to be out for a little while. I don't know exactly the timescale."

Moyes happy to have Dewsbury-Hall on his side

Former Chelsea and Leicester City star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been a revelation for Everton so far this season, commanding the midfielder whilst picking up 3 goals and 2 assists in 13 games so far.

The 27-year-old has been nominated for the Premier League player of the month award for November, which Moyes is delighted with.

"It is very difficult to get nominated in the Premier League as one of the players of the month because of the quality of the players and you have seen the levels that some of the teams are playing at.

"So all credit to Kiernan. He's getting us a couple of goals and playing well for us. We are pleased. He has been good and is good in the dressing room, he's good with the players so we are really happy to have him."

Sitting 16th in the Premier League table and three points above the relegation zone, Forest head into Saturday’s clash desperate to push up the league and away from the bottom three. The two teams meet for the first time since April and Moyes will be hoping for a repeat of that 1-0 victory which saw Abdoulaye Doucoure scored a 94th-minute winner.
