Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's clash with Fulham in what should be an intense affair.

The Blues roared to a 5-1 demolition of West Ham United in game week two after going a goal behind, and will now face yet another London rival in Fulham. Maresca first spoke on Cole Palmer who he confirmed will miss the clash after much speculation surrounding his groin injury.

Palmer out

“Cole is out, Benoit is out, Romeo is out. The rest are okay.

“When Cole is not in the game, we need to find different solutions. Hopefully tomorrow we can do the same.

“Cole, we need to see day by day. Romeo and Benoit, I don't think they will be back after the international break but they will be closer.”

Delap and Pedro together again?

He was then asked about summer signings Liam Delap and Joao Pedro starting together which surprised many Chelsea fans who thought they would be interchangeable.

“We have been the team with the most changes in an entire season, last season, so I am looking for different solutions.”

More Chelsea incomings?

Maresca also commented on if Chelsea will be busy in the final few days of the transfer window and revealed that he is happy with his squad that is on fine form at the moment as they chase down the league title.

"You can expect anything with the transfer window open - anything can happen in and out.

"I joined the club one year ago saying I was in love with the squad and it has got better. The feeling is the same."

Garnacho update

Finally, he spoke on Alejandro Garnacho and said that he sees the Manchester United star as a winger as he takes his medical this week.

"I know that he is around here. I don't know exactly where he is. He is a winger, and I see him as a winger."
